Job description

As a strategy and management consultancy, we work hand in hand with leading clients from the Automotive & Transport, Energy & Environment, and Public & Infrastructure sectors to shape the future of mobility. We leverage the tools of digital transformation to guide traditional companies into the future and help young businesses establish themselves in the market.

Since our founding in 2017, we have grown to over 110 employees across eight locations – Berlin, Munich, Vienna, Cologne, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Bucharest, and most recently Warsaw. We are proud to have been ranked among the Top Ten in the brandeins/Statista list of “Best Management Consultants” for the fifth consecutive year.

What to Expect

At accilium, you’ll help build something big. We move fast – and we’ll take you along on our journey through the mobility and energy ecosystem: working with top-tier clients and engaging in diverse digitalization projects. We foster an open team culture, place the highest value on your professional development, and always meet on equal footing. We believe in full transparency for your career – your individual performance alone determines your next step toward becoming a Senior Consultant.

Our clients include DAX30 companies, among them leading OEMs and suppliers in the automotive industry. From day one, you and your project team will take responsibility for tackling our clients’ challenges. You’ll work in a structured way and, as you gain experience in management consulting, develop a clear approach to finding solutions.

Your Responsibilities as a Consultant

  • Problem-Solving: Develop creative and independent solutions through research and by leveraging your network of contacts and colleagues.

  • Data Analytics: Conduct data analyses – from data collection, analysis, structuring, and visualization to communication and tool selection.

  • Presentation & Facilitation: Present and moderate groups using clear materials, audience-appropriate methods, and authentic presence and body language.

  • Project Management: Apply PM methods by understanding and structuring content and relationships within the project framework.

What You Should Bring

  • Education: A completed university degree – we believe it strengthens your ability to think critically.

  • Growth Mindset: Curiosity, a daily willingness to learn, and readiness to go the extra mile during intensive project phases.

  • Experience: Internships in consulting or in the automotive, energy, or public sectors are a plus – or at least 1 year of experience in strategy/management consulting with a bachelor’s degree.

  • Interest & Tech Affinity: Passion for the automotive industry, technical understanding, and enthusiasm for topics related to engineering, manufacturing, and production.

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, plus flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

  • Tools: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Willingness to Travel: 1–3 days per week within the DACH region.

  • Languages: Excellent German and English skills (at least C1 level).*

*Global scale - Table 1 (CEFR 3.3): Common Reference levels (coe.int)

Your Compensation and Benefits

  • Monthly gross salary of €4,650, depending on experience and qualifications.

  • Annual salary increase – because we value your development – plus performance-based bonus.

  • Full-time (all-in), 30 vacation days.

  • Annual bonus (one month’s gross salary) or 10 additional vacation days – your choice.

  • Buddy program & structured onboarding for a smooth start.

  • Professional training, best-practice sharing, semi-annual performance reviews, and management 1:1s to accelerate your learning curve from day one.

  • Regular feedback, direct access to management, and a culture of change to foster your growth.

  • 100% transparent career path (levels, performance, and salary follow a company-wide standard) – for your career in the fast lane.

  • Public transport ticket, corporate benefits, team events, and all-company events (reTreat, acc’sPerience, acc’smas Party).

  • Digital by Design: Latest hardware and software (iPhone & Microsoft Surface).

  • Smart working: We follow an 80/20 rule – one day per week you can work from home.
