Job description

As a strategy and management consultancy, we work hand in hand with leading clients from the Automotive & Transport, Energy & Environment, and Public & Infrastructure sectors to shape the future of mobility. We leverage the tools of digital transformation to guide traditional companies into the future and help young businesses establish themselves in the market.

Since our founding in 2017, we have grown to over 110 employees across eight locations – Berlin, Munich, Vienna, Cologne, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Bucharest, and most recently Warsaw. We are proud to have been ranked among the Top Ten in the brandeins/Statista list of “Best Management Consultants” for the fifth consecutive year.

What to Expect

With us, you will help build something big. We move fast – and we will take you along on our journey through the mobility and energy ecosystem: working with top-tier clients and engaging in diverse digitalization projects.
We foster an open team culture, place the highest value on your professional development, and always meet on equal footing. We believe in full transparency for your career: only your individual performance determines your next step – all the way to Associate Manager.

Your Day-to-Day as a Senior Consultant

We work in a practice-based organization that allows our consultants, starting at Senior Consultant level, to align with a clearly defined area of expertise. This enables you to develop as a subject matter expert, deepen your knowledge, and build strong specialization – while remaining part of our interdisciplinary project business. You will apply your expertise across diverse client contexts and continuously expand it.
Our goal: for you to grow not only as a consultant but also as a thought leader in your practice area.

As a Senior Consultant - Energy Practice (f/m/x), you will take on professional responsibility, lead teams, and strategically develop topics. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the growth of our Energy Practice and advance both personally and professionally:

  • Team Leadership: Lead teams in (sub-)projects and foster active knowledge sharing – by supporting colleagues with challenges and delegating work packages effectively.

  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional exchanges and client workshops or meetings.

  • Conceptual Work: Develop and implement solution approaches for top-tier clients, agile organizations, and emerging businesses.

  • Data Analytics: Conduct efficient data collection – from defining data structures to interpretation, visualization, communication, and deriving actionable recommendations.

  • Active Role in the Company: In addition to client projects, contribute to internal initiatives such as business development.

In the Energy Practice, we work with clients (e.g., energy providers) on their digital and sustainable transformation. Our projects include market analysis for new technologies, implementing AI solutions to improve operational efficiency, and developing e-mobility strategies.

What You Should Bring

  • Education: A completed university degree – ideally related to energy technology or energy economics. We believe a degree strengthens critical thinking and helps you master complex topics.

  • Growth Mindset: Curiosity, daily learning drive, and motivation to go the extra mile during intensive project phases.

  • Experience:

    • 2–3 years of full-time experience in strategy or management consulting

    • or 3–4 years with a bachelor’s degree

  • Industry Interest: You are curious about the energy sector, tech-savvy, and passionate about topics like renewable energy, energy grids, and e-mobility.

  • Language Skills: Excellent German and English (at least C1 level).*

  • Willingness to Travel: 1–3 days per week within the DACH region.

  • Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving expertise, and solid project management knowledge.

* Global scale - Table 1 (CEFR 3.3): Common Reference levels (coe.int)

What We Offer

  • Monthly gross salary: EUR 5,850 (all-in, full-time), depending on experience and qualifications

  • 30 vacation days per year

  • Annual salary increase - because we value your development

Career & Development:

  • Buddy program and structured onboarding during your first 3 months for a smooth start

  • Participation in external trainings and bi-weekly best-practice sharing within the team

  • Regular feedback sessions, direct access to management, and a supportive, adaptable environment

  • No politics, just performance: Our 100% transparent career path (level, performance, and salary follow company-wide standards) ensures your career stays in the fast lane

Culture:

  • Informal company culture with communication on equal footing

  • “Challenge and support” is our motto: appreciation, open doors, and flat hierarchies are a given

  • Digital by Design: Work with the latest hardware and software (iPhone & Microsoft Surface)

Benefits:

  • Choice bonus: up to 2 additional monthly salaries or 10 extra vacation days - you decide

  • Public transport ticket, corporate benefits (discounts on products & services), team events, and major company events like reTreat, acc’sPerience, or acc’smas Party

  • 80/20 home office rule (one day per week remote)
